My PhD thesis focuses on the use of social media images to better understand Food Safety Cultures. My project is funded by the White Rose ESRC Network on ‘Big Data and Food Safety’, led by Farida Vis. This network is a collaboration with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and social media analytics intelligence company Pulsar.

My main areas of interest are social media research, visual social media, food safety, users’ behaviour on social media and data privacy.
I have worked in Media, Advertising&Communication in the UK, Luxembourg and Greece for over 15 years. My area of specialization is digital and social media strategy and I have been working on Social Media Advertising and Research for the last 5 years intensively. This is my personal blog, where I write my thoughts on a professional field that never stops evolving.
I have studied English Language and Literature at the University of Athens, my Master of Arts in Media and Communication at the University of Westminster and my Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Sheffield, UK.
I love data science and analysis, observing human nature and the Cookie Monster.
